This year’s Giving Tuesday has been a huge success for INARA. We have more than doubled last year’s record, raising $5,581 in total.

Giving Tuesday is one of the most philanthropic days of the year, where people around the world raise money and awareness for causes close to their heart. As with previous years, we received donations and recommendations from across the globe, proving that people really do want to do whatever they can to help match war wounded refugee children with the life-altering medical treatment they so desperately need.

The $5,581 raised on this day ensures that we will be able to help one extra refugee child in the near future, with our average case costing just over $5,000.

Founder Arwa Damon said: “It’s extremely gratifying to see people from all over the world come together to rally behind INARA’s cause. This year’s Giving Tuesday has been a real success. Let’s keep the momentum going during the holiday season! We’re trying to raise $40,000 over Christmas and we can only reach that with your help.”

We are currently running our Christmas Appeal. Every single dollar donated until we reach $18,450 will be doubled, thanks to amazing people who have pledged money to the Appeal. This includes two of our greatest supporters, actors and humanitarians Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski. To double your donation, simply select ‘Christmas Appeal’ as the campaign you are donating to on our donation page.
